(Manipulation of fractions, decimals, basic geometry and trigonometry.)\nExperienced E&I Maintenance Technician with knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair these systems while working independently.\nMust be proficient in the use of diagnostic instruments used to measure voltage, current, resistance, temperature, and other inputs.\nMust be able to read and understand specifications, technical drawings, prints, and EFD’s.\nKnowledge of various types of and proper application of fasteners, gaskets, tubing, and piping.\nDesired Knowledge\nAbility to operate both conventional and complex diagnostic instruments.\nAbility to operate both conventional and complex diagnostic equipment to evaluate pressure, temperature, flow, and other process conditions.\nAbility to effectively lead, influence, and direct work groups.\nComputer skills for effective use of the SAP maintenance program, PC web-based data entry, and other applications.\nAble to document findings and summarize in written reports.\nSpecific Job Requirements\nDaily work activities will include troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, and performing preventive maintenance activities on any equipment supported in the plant.\nLift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds for distances of up to ten (10) feet.\nHave the ability to climb, bend, stretch, crawl, and position yourself in cramped areas to build and repair material and equipment.\nIndividuals will be expected to perform work at a high level of precision, quality and cost effectiveness while providing significant contributions in a team environment.\nThis is a demanding assignment where technical abilities, equipment knowledge and dedication to customer needs are essential.\nOvertime is required as needed in support of plant operations.\nE&I Maintenance Technicians will be utilized across the site to support shutdowns, emergencies, and specific skills as determined by maintenance leadership.\nActively participate in safety processes and instruct others on the proper and safe use of equipment and tools.\nExecute work safely, effectively, and with high quality in support of the daily operations and maintenance plan.\nCandidates must demonstrate a positive attitude and show personal initiative while striving to satisfy customer needs through high quality maintenance and repair of critical plant equipment.\nWork with operations, maintenance leadership, planner/scheduler to identify and resolve improvement opportunities related to work execution and equipment reliability.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment by using an analytical step-by-step process, standard maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. \nJob Location \nFoley, AL\nPosition Type\nFull-Time, Regular\nAt Ascend Performance Materials, we value transparency and fairness in our hiring process.
