Qualified candidates must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, as well as overtime when needed.\nTARGETED OUTCOMES\nExecute job safely and follow site and area procedures at all times\nChampion for safety for the unit\nDrive unit performance to operational entitlement with respect to yields, usages, reliability, and quality\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nMust meet area and shift commitments.\nCoordinate with other Processors and Lead Processors to address any issues impacting shift activities to meet ESSH, production and quality commitments.\nParticipate in Housekeeping, 5S, and A2E efforts and drive improvement for the area.\nTroubleshoot chemical processing equipment and work with maintenance and construction resources to restore proper operations as needed.\nProcessors will be responsible for interfacing with Production Manager, Production Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, Maintenance, Area Support Engineers, and plant supervision.\nUnderstand and utilize EXCEL, SAP, IP 21, Provox and Delta V systems as needed to meet the needs of the area.\nDemonstrated knowledge of and commitment to A2E, safety and RCA.\n\nREPORTS TO\nShift Supervisor\nTEAM\nProcessor Lead, Processor III\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nHighschool Diploma/GED\nSilver Rating or Higher on Florida Ready to Work Test\nCOBRA Test Completed, Operator BOOT Camp Completed\nCandidate must meet the current residency requirments for their current position.\nDemonstration of thorough knowledge of ESSH compliance requirements\nPrefer knowledge of 508 and Casting Floor operations. \nMechanical inclination and capability of tracing out process flows and understanding chemical, electrical, and mechanical processes.\nREQUIRED SKILLS\nExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.\nMust have a strong work ethic, be reliable and deeply committed.\nGood process troubleshooting/problemsolving skills.\nShould have demonstrated initiative and good judgment in current assignment.\nAbility to wear a respirator, climb to 70+ feet, lift containers weighing up to 50 pounds, and move 55 gallon drums weighing up to 400 pounds. \nAbility to excel in a fast-paced, demanding team environment.\nMust be results focused with high standards and a passion for excellence.\nChallenge others to do better.\nCandidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to collaborate across team members.\nAt Ascend Performance Materials, we value transparency and fairness in our hiring process.
