Qualified individuals will have the opportunity to join our employee friendly corporate culture.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPrimary client contact and liaison; communicate effectively with clients and develop positive relationships with client personnel\nTop review of returns, workpapers and issues \nHandle communication from clients and tax authorities. Advise clients on tax strategies.\nProvide future tax planning to clients.\nInterpret wills and trust documents\nAnalyze tax data submitted by the client to maximize the outcome for the client.\nResearch new tax trends and regulations.\nEnsure compliance with government tax rules.\nSupervise, train and mentor tax staff; Support the growth and development of team members\nManage multiple assignments inside an engagement.\nCommunicates with Partner on work status and client issues that arise\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master's Degree in tax or accounting\nMinimum of 10 years of tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting\nMinimum of 2 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members\nAdvanced understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations\nStrong research and analytical skills\nAbility to fully manage client relationships on behalf of the firm\nAbility to work independently, but also work well with others\nStrong interpersonal and relationship building skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAdvanced knowledge of applicable accounting software, CCH Axcess & Engagement preferred\nWorking at LMC provides unlimited growth potential along with a competitive compensation and benefits package. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of LMC’s salary range for this position.
