Must be able to work independently as well as within a team. Tax Supervisor must be professional at all times and will have recurring direct client contact. This position involves critical thinking and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be able to work rapidly, accurately, and under pressure during tax season to meet tight deadlines.\nThe Duties:\nIncreased complexity level of projects. Must demonstrate ability to take a messy trial balance and provide AJEs to correct it.\nPrepare complete and accurate returns. Review others’ returns.\nPrepare documentation to support tax return calculations.\nAbility to mentor a team of Associates and Seniors.\nReviewing data input, identifying, and resolving technical issues.\nWork closely with managers and partners and keep team informed on status.\nIncreased level of client communication while working on their tax return, and potentially throughout multiple years.\nUnderstand federal, state, and local tax codes.\nShow what you know! You have the knowledge-now apply it to real life situations.
