The role supports migration of applications to a modern cloud-native architecture hosted on AWS. The Data Modeler will work with architects, business analysts, SMEs, developers, QA teams and modernization specialists to define canonical data models, integration structures, data governance standards, and future-state information architecture.\nPlease Note: Experience in Banking Domain is Mandatory\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct current-state data architecture assessment across Data Platform modules and data structures.\nAnalyse source systems and define data mappings for migration and integration initiatives.\nCreate conceptual, logical and physical data models for Disclosure and Work Actions modules.\nDesign and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications and analytics platforms.\nDevelop dimensional data models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) for reporting and business intelligence.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and data engineers to define data requirements.\nCreate and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.\nDesign data models for AWS-based Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments.\nWork closely with ETL/ELT teams to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.\nOptimize data structures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nImplement data governance, data quality, and master data management best practices.\nAnalyse source systems and define data mappings for migration and integration initiatives.\nSupport data modernization and cloud migration projects.\nAssist development teams during sprint execution and defect triage.\nParticipate in discovery, design reviews, sprint demos and stakeholder workshops.\nRequired Skills\n6+ years in Data Modeling and Data Architecture.\nStrong expertise in relational database design and normalization.\nExperience with PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB, SQL Server environments.\nExperience supporting legacy modernization programs.\nHands-on experience with AWS-based enterprise platforms.\nExperience creating enterprise data dictionaries and governance artifacts.\nExperience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.\nTechnical Skills\nData Modeling tools: ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner or equivalent.\nSQL and database performance concepts.\nDB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS knowledge.\nAPI and integration data modeling.\nData migration and transformation concepts.\nMetadata management and data lineage practices.\nAWS Data Services awareness.\nUML, ERD and information architecture documentation.\nKey Success Factors\nApproved target data
