You'll own architecture across SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI and Power Platform, act as the client's technical advisor, and guide the delivery team.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and evolve a cloud data warehouse on Snowflake with dbt: layered modelling, history/snapshot strategy and ingestion from operational databases.\nLead technical discovery: scope validation, impact analysis, data profiling and solution design.\nSet engineering standards for ETL, stored procedures, migrations and multi-environment promotion.\nArchitect reporting solutions in Power BI (paginated reports and dashboards), including automated report testing.\nDefine CI/CD and ALM for data, reporting and Power Platform workloads.\nEvaluate tools and build-vs-buy options, balancing cost, licensing and security.\nDrive AI-assisted delivery (knowledge bases, agent-assisted development and testing).\nOversee production stability, review designs and code, and mentor engineers.\nEngage stakeholders and translate business needs into roadmaps and estimates.\nMust Have\nStrong data architecture experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL and Snowflake\ndbt, dimensional modelling, SCD/snapshot patterns\nPower BI architecture (paginated reports and dashboards)\nCI/CD for data platforms (Azure DevOps or GitHub)\nExcellent client-facing communication and documentation\nGood to Have\nPower Platform / Power Automate ALM\nFivetran, AWS (S3), PostgreSQL\nAzure (Container Apps, Entra ID)\nGenAI / agentic tooling for engineering\nPayments or fintech domain
