Follow work through release and resolve issues in the\ncomponents you own.\nCollaborate with Ascendion teams, technology partners and alliances to resolve dependencies and\nearn client trust through reliable delivery.\nUse AI tools with judgment. Verify their output and apply relevant security, data quality, privacy and\nresponsible AI practices.\nMust have experience and skills\nRelevant AI engineering experience and hands-on depth in at least one technical area below,\nsupported by strong programming, debugging and testing skills.\nAt least one delivered component or system you can explain in depth: your contribution, design\nchoices, tests, failures and results.\nExperience clarifying stakeholder needs and explaining recommendations. Show both practical\nproblem framing and personal implementation work.\nExcellent written and spoken communication, ownership and follow-through. Work independently\nwithin your scope, seek feedback and collaborate with others.\nSeniority and leadership expectations\nOwn a defined piece of delivery as an individual contributor and team player. Support discussions with\nAI, data and engineering leaders and contribute evidence for CxO discussions. As your experience\ngrows, take on larger components and help other engineers.\nRelevant technical expertise\nImplementation depth in at least one area is required. Different combinations are welcome; use\nevidence relevant to your specialization.\nAI and decision systems: build or evaluate ML, Generative AI, Data Science or Decision Science\nsolutions. Explain model or retrieval quality, failure cases and how outputs are checked.\nData and analytics: build SQL transformations, data models or cloud pipelines that support usable\nenterprise analytics. Show data quality checks on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or another\nhyperscaler.\nEnterprise engineering: implement APIs, middleware integrations or delivery automation. Show\ntests and release controls using relevant DevOps, DataOps, DataSecOps or release management\npractices.\nGood to have experience and capabilities\nContribution to an enterprise AI transformation workstream, client workshop, partner demonstration\nor executive presentation.\nDomain exposure in healthcare and life sciences (HCLS), banking, financial services and insurance\n(BFSI), HiTech or another industry.\nOpen-source work, internal tools or other evidence of self-directed building; applied AI governance,\nEthical AI or Responsible AI experience.\nLocation and travel\nPreferred locations, in order: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune. Work from an Ascendion office\nor client location; permanent work from home is not offered.
