The ideal candidate brings troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve basic application issues.\nJob Title: Senior L1.5 Support Engineer AS 400\nKey Responsibilities:\n-Perform advanced technical triage , monitor system health and backups, and act as a critical technical bridge between L1 helpdesk and L2/L3 engineering teams.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n- Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve basic application issues.\n- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and document incidents clearly.\n- Technical proficiency: Ability to work with an AS400 operating system, Cobol, DB2 Querying, CL (Command Line).\n- Aptitude to learn: Quick learners able to pick up WINS, Nightly jobs and associated Policy Data processing.\n- Problem solving skills: Ability to be able to spot trends\n- Basic DB2 SQL and Data analysis skills\n- Experience with application performance monitoring tools e.g. Dynatrace/IBM application monitoring tools\n- Application expertise: Some experience with supporting Legacy AS400 apps or experience in insurance domain.\nLocation: Bangalore\nWant to change the world?
