As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and managing the global mobility framework, ensuring compliance across all countries where we operate. This role combines policy development, process ownership and operational execution\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.\nYou will be joining the Global HR team and report directly to Anne Marie Knuth, Head of HR Rewards, Data & Systems who is based in Hellerup. You will also be based in Hellerup.\nYour key responsibilities will be:\nDefine and drive Ascendis' global mobility strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs. \nEstablish principles, governance, and decision frameworks for international mobility. \nEnsure mobility programs balance employee experience, business flexibility and compliance requirements. \nAct as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor to HR, managers and leadership on global mobility matters and being the primary point of contact for immigration requirements and travel-related compliance obligations. \nIdentify and proactively manage risks related to immigration, employment law, cross-border taxation and social security \nBuild scalable and efficient workflows for; work permit applications, visa administration, business traveler compliance, A1 certificates and social security coverage as well as cross-border employee movements, as well as managing and coordinating the applications globally. \nTo ensure timely renewals and ongoing compliance of permits and authorizations. \nQualifications and Skills:\nYou hold a relevant academic degree and have 5-10 years of experience within global mobility, immigration, international HR and employment tax.\nFurthermore, you have:\nIn depth knowledge of immigration, work authorization, and business travel compliance. \nExperience managing cross-border taxation and social security matters. \nThe ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing global organization. \nGreat stakeholder management skills and can see yourself partnering with HR, Legal, Payroll, and Finance to address complex international employment scenarios. \nExperience with vendor management as you will be the primary contact point to our external mobility vendors \nKey competencies:\nYou are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.\nYou possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.\nTo succeed in this role, we also expect you to monitor changes in global legislation and assess business impact while ensuring ongoing compliance.
