As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in Global Logistics This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.\nYou will join the Global Logistics team consisting of 5 colleagues, and report directly to Aske Engsbro-Jansson, Associate Director who is based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup\nYour key responsibilities will be:\nLogistics Operations\nCoordinate daily shipping activities and ensure timely collection and delivery of GxP shipments\nCommunicate clearly and accurately with third-party vendors.\nCompliance & Documentation\nEnsure all transportation and storage activities comply with GDP and regulatory requirements\nStakeholder Collaboration\nGuide, train, and support colleagues on shipping procedures and requirements\nResolve logistics issues with internal and external partners\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify and implement process improvements\nQualifications and Skills:\nYou have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Logistics, preferably within the biotech, pharmaceutical or other regulated industry (e.g., food, medical devices)\nFurthermore, you have:\nStrong knowledge of international logistics, cold chain shipping, and GxP/GDP requirements.\nExperience with customs and VAT requirements, shipping documentation, and third-party logistics.\nProficiency in English and Danish (written and spoken)\nSolid skills in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) is an advantage\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills\nKey competencies:\nYou are a person who understands the value of teamwork and appreciates the strengths that come from collaborating with colleagues who bring diverse competencies, perspectives, and experiences\nYou possess a positive mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation is key.\nTo excel in this position, you should demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, maintain a proactive approach, and be adaptable to changing priorities, challenges, and business needs.\nTravel: 5-15days per year.\nOffice: Denmark, DK2900 Hellerup, Tuborg Boulevard 12\nApply now.\nWe evaluate applications when received, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
