We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.\nWe are seeking a motivated and structured Student Assistant to support our Head of Treasury.\nAs a Student Assistant in Treasury, you will support analysis, reporting, documentation, and recurring operational activities across the treasury function. You will work closely with the Head of Treasury and collaborate with colleagues across Finance and the wider organization.\nThe role offers broad exposure to how a centralized treasury function manages liquidity, financial risk, funding, reporting, and banking relationships. You will contribute to both day-to-day activities and projects, with responsibilities developing as your knowledge and experience grow.\nYou will join a small, specialized Treasury team characterized by close collaboration, high professional standards, and an informal working environment.\nYou will report to the Head of Treasury, based in Hellerup.\nAs our new Student Assistant, you will support the Head of Treasury with:\nTreasury policy: Preparing analyses, presentations, and documentation supporting treasury policies, investment strategy, and the Group’s approach to financial risk.\nCash management: Supporting daily liquidity monitoring, cash positioning, cash pool activities, cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis, and monitoring of financial investments.\nFunding: Supporting analysis and documentation related to capital structure, bank funding, debt agreements, and convertible notes.\nRisk management: Monitoring Group foreign exchange exposures and supporting FX transactions for liquidity and risk management purposes.\nTreasury reporting: Preparing recurring reporting and explaining developments in treasury-related profit and loss and balance sheet items.\nBank relationships: Supporting bank administration, documentation, and follow-up with the Group’s relationship banks.\nProjects and process improvement: Contributing to treasury projects, data analysis, process documentation, and automation initiatives.\nYour Profile\nYou are currently enrolled in a relevant academic program within Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a similar field, preferably at the end of your bachelor’s degree or beginning your master’s degree.\nYou are curious about treasury and financial markets, comfortable working with data, and able to structure, follow up on, and complete tasks. You take ownership of your work, ask questions when needed, and enjoy collaborating in a dynamic environment.\nFurthermore, you have\nStrong analytical skills and a flair for numbers\nA structured approach and attention to detail\nReliability and the ability to handle recurring deadlines\nGood communication and collaboration skills\nCuriosity, sound judgement, and willingness to learn\nStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills are important. Experience with ERP systems, financial data, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools is an advantage, but not a requirement.\nAscendis Pharma uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 and continues to develop its financial systems and processes.
