This individual must maintain the highest commitment to quality with a demonstrated collaborative approach. The Café Kitchen Manager is responsible for driving exceptional standards in food preparation and presentation as established by the Director of Culinary. This role requires at least 45 hours per work week in café. This position is not remote.Salary commensurate with experience.\nWhat you'll do\nAccountable for tracking kitchen-related financials such as food cost, labor cost and inventory \nMaintains food safety and sanitation standards \nOversees BOH operations and is responsible for training and managing BOH team members \nIs responsible for driving financial success through strong leadership and active coaching \nMeets all deadlines regarding ordering, inventory, invoice and schedule submission \nHolds a standard of excellence for all food received, prepped, held and presented \nUpholds food quality standards by adhering to company recipes and build sheets \nMaintains a clean and safe work environment for team members and guests, ensures all equipment is functioning and in working order, actively uses their resources to find solutions, supports GM with adherence to R&M budget \nOrders food accurately to prevent waste and ensure appropriate availability \nImplements Ascension Coffee standards as directed by Brand Leadership \nParticipates in special events including off site catering and functions \nCoachable: receives and implements feedback quickly \nApproachable: forges strong interpersonal connections with folks of all skill levels \nImpactful: communicates and conveys concepts in a way the individual will understand and respond with engagement \nCulture: participates in required \n\nFood and Beverage Manager certification \n\nReliable transportation, able to travel to all locations \n\nAble to work nights and weekends \n\nStrong team building skills, clear
