The result: a group of businesses, each an industry leader within their own discipline, now acting as one truly integrated supply base. \n\nSUMMARY OF POSITION\nThe individual will perform electrical wiring of automated systems to include installations, troubleshooting and repairs. May have all or partial responsibility for electrical and/or pneumatic systems on large integration programs. The major responsibilities include wiring of panels to the automated machinery, including end-devices on motion platforms. This also includes powering / troubleshooting the electrical panels, wiring the process heads, and wiring the fastener feeder systems to the main control panel.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nThis document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying the position.\nPerform PM’s and repair electrical systems of industrial machinery.\nFollow electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.\nRead and correctly interpret blueprints/schematics and wiring diagrams (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic blueprints).\nConnect power supply wires to machines and equipment, connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.\nWire machines, run conduit, build control panels.\nRun pneumatic lines to valves and cylinders.\nDiagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair/replace.\nEnsure the safety of the electrical systems.\nRepair or replace wires, cables or other fixtures/equipment using hand tools.\nPerforms troubleshooting; start up and de-bug of machinery.\nRequired to travel to customer facilities for machine installations and service.\nAny additional duties as reasonably assigned by management\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE\nAny combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:\nThis position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a \"US Person\" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required.\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required.\nAt least 2 years electrical experience.\nAssociates degree in Electrical or related field preferred.\nMust be able to read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).\nMaintain current knowledge of new and existing products, applications, and standards. Specifically, NFPA, NEC, UL 508, IEC and CE as they relate to control panel design and build.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nJourneyman Electrician Preferred.\nAssociates degree in Electrical or related field preferred.\nAbility to organize and maintain effective inventory.\n\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS\nPosition will require out-of-the area and overnight travel.
