The result: a group of businesses, each an industry leader within their own discipline, now acting as one truly integrated supply base.\n\nSUMMARY OF POSITION\nMaterial Controls Associate & Shipping & Receiving clerk manages the receipt, storage, and movement of materials within a facility. This role involves verifying quantities, entering data into inventory systems, and ensuring materials are stored and handled safely. They also prepare materials for shipment, maintain records, and will participate in physical inventory counts.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nThis list reflects the core duties of the position but is not intended to be all-inclusive.\nMaintain inventory and support internal and external audits.\nComplete monthly inventory closeouts, receiving documentation, and assist with loading & unloading incoming shipments.\nReceiving, verifying, and storing incoming materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels.\nManaging the flow of goods into and out of a facility.\nPreparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders.\nOperate a forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment\nInspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies\nVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips\nUnloading incoming deliveries and materials and Loading trucks for shipment\nPerform additional duties as assigned by management.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE\nA combination of education and experience that supports successful job performance will be considered.\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n2+ years of experience in a tool crib, warehouse, inventory control, or related environment.\nMechanical aptitude and understanding of loading and unloading procedures.\nFamiliarity with software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate with management to support operational performance.\nProactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and complete tasks independently.\nMust meet Export Control requirements; position requires status as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. §.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nForklift and crane operation skills.\nSafety training or certifications.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY\nNone\n\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS\nOccasional local travel may be required.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nConditions below represent those typically encountered while performing this role:\nExtended periods of sitting at a computer workstation.\nRegular access to the manufacturing floor.\nExposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.\nOccasional exposure to caustic chemicals; noise levels are generally moderate.\nIt is possible to travel to other site locations during the workday.\nOccasional weekend work to meet business needs.\nRequired use of safety eyewear in manufacturing areas; safety shoes recommended.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThese physical requirements must be met to perform essential job functions.
