This position will be located in the St. Clairsville area and will report to the Maintenance Foreman.\nThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of facility equipment with Ascent’s standard operating procedures, accepted industry standards, equipment specifications, contract requirements and company best management practices under direct supervision. Will interact with I&E Technicians, Measurement Technicians, and Lease Operators to maximize well production and end-user time, while reducing environmental hazards, safety risk, and cost.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities\nBasic understanding of gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly\nKnowledge of safety/environmental requirements and practices\nReport all incidents, near misses, and all spills\nBasic knowledge of analyzing and solving mechanical problems\nAble to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment\nBasic knowledge of oil and gas processes & production equipment\nDemonstrate effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications\nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nMinimum Requirements:\nBasic preventative maintenance task on surface production equipment\nPerform basic rebuilds on valves, pilots, etc.\nBasic knowledge on wellhead valve and SDV maintenance rebuilds\nAbility to identify potential hazards in the field and know how to mitigate them\nAbility to work independently and self-motivated\nPay attention to detail\nMechanically inclined \nStrong communication skills\nPreferred:\nMaintenance background in Natural Gas Processing or an Industrial Type Operation\nPrevious use of a Computerized Maintenance Management Program\nEducation & Work Experience Required\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma\n2-5+ years related work experience or 1-4 years working experience or AAS/Vocational Certificate in a technical field\nPreferred:\nMaintenance experience with Natural Gas Processing Equipment\nOperations experience with Natural Gas Facilities\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
