You'll work closely with the accounting team and the company's third-party consultants to keep the close and quarterly filing on track.\nSchedule\nNovember-December: about 20 hours per week for training and transition with the VP of Accounting\nJanuary-mid-February: about 30 hours per week supporting the quarter-end close and 10-Q filing\nExact dates will be confirmed closer to the start.\nWhat You'll Do\nReview and tie out the 10-Q in DFIN ActiveDisclosure, including XBRL tagging\nReview month-end account reconciliations prepared by the accounting team\nPrepare technical accounting memos on lower-risk topics\nReview complex technical accounting memos prepared by third-party consultants\nWork independently and keep the team's reporting timeline moving while the VP is out\nWhat You Bring\nPublic company SEC reporting experience, including 10-Q review and tie-out\nHands-on experience with DFIN ActiveDisclosure and XBRL\nNetSuite experience\nExperience reviewing reconciliations and technical accounting memos\nThe ability to learn a new environment quickly and work with minimal oversight\nNice to Have\nExperience building saved searches and reports in NetSuite\nA Big 4 or public accounting background and/or a CPA\nWhy This Role\nThis is a well-defined, flexible engagement with a clear term and a strong team behind it.
