Regional Sales Manager

Reporting To: National Sales Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth, customer acquisition, collections, distributor/dealer development, and team performance across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales revenue and collection targets.
• Develop and execute sales and market development strategies.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage Area Managers and Promoters.
• Build and expand distributor, dealer, retailer, and institutional customer networks.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Monitor competitor pricing, products, promotions, and market activities.
• Conduct regular field visits and ensure effective territory coverage.
• Manage customer relationships and resolve customer, pricing, supply, and logistics issues.
• Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and market reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of progressive B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years managing a field sales team.
• Experience in building materials, construction chemicals, adhesives, roofing/waterproofing products, gypsum, paints/coatings, or FMCG distribution.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and collection targets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, customer relationship, and business development skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel, MIS reporting, and CRM tools.
• Strong knowledge of the Abuja market and commercial terrain.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
