We are committed to forging long-term partnerships with our clients by creating and delivering robust and flexible services that address the changing needs of their business.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Senior HR Manager\n\nLocation: Ibadan, Oyo\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Summary\n\n We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead the company's human resources function, strengthen workforce management, and align HR strategies with organisational objectives.\n\n The successful candidate will oversee HR operations, employee relations, talent management, performance management, and regulatory compliance while fostering a productive and engaging work environment.\n\n The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and practical experience managing a diverse workforce, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, agro-processing, or a related industry.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's business objectives.\n\n Advise management on workforce planning, organisational structure, succession planning, and employee-related matters.\n\n Review and improve HR policies, the employee handbook, and internal processes to support operational efficiency.\n\n Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure effective service delivery across the organisation.\n\n Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning for managerial, technical, administrative, and operational positions.\n\n Manage employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, workplace conflicts, and other employee relations matters.\n\n Maintain effective communication between management and employees, promoting a positive and professional work environment.\n\n Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory obligations.\n\n Oversee relevant statutory HR obligations, including pension contributions, PAYE, NSITF, ITF, and NHF, as applicable.\n\n Support the implementation of workplace health and safety policies in collaboration with relevant departments.\n\n Develop and oversee performance management systems, employee appraisals, and performance improvement initiatives.\n\n Identify training needs and implement learning and development programmes to improve employee competence and productivity.\n\n Drive employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.\n\n Establish succession plans and talent development strategies for critical positions.\n\n Oversee compensation and benefits administration in collaboration with the Finance team.\n\n Ensure effective management of employee records, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and other HR documentation.\n\n Monitor HR metrics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, workforce costs, and performance indicators, to support management decisions.\n\n Ensure the effective use of HR information systems and the maintenance of accurate and confidential employee records.\n\nRequirements\n\n Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\n\n Professional certification from CIPM, CIPD, or an equivalent recognised HR body is required.\n\n Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior HR leadership role\n\n Demonstrable experience managing multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR operations.\n\n Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agro-processing, agriculture, or food production is highly desirable.\n\n Proven ability to lead an HR team and manage a diverse workforce comprising corporate and operational employees.\n\n Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.\n\n Experience handling disciplinary cases, employee grievances, workforce planning, and organisational development.\n\n Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems;
