Title: Utility Engineer – FMCG\n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nIndustry: FMCG\n\nJob Description\n\n We are seeking an experienced Utility Engineer with proven experience in the FMCG/manufacturing industry to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot critical plant utility systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Operate and maintain plant utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.\n\n Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, steamers, HVAC systems, cooling towers, compressors, pumps, and generators.\n\n Monitor utility parameters including pressure, temperature, flow, and energy consumption.\n\n Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on utility equipment.\n\n Troubleshoot breakdowns and minimize production downtime.\n\n Monitor steam, chilled water, compressed air, water, and power supply.\n\n Maintain utility records and monitor equipment performance.\n\n Support energy efficiency and utility cost-reduction initiatives.\n\n Ensure compliance with HSE and plant operating standards.\n\n Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.\n\nRequirements\n\n B.Sc./HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.\n\n 3–6 years' relevant experience in FMCG/manufacturing is mandatory.\n\n Hands-on experience with chillers, boilers, steamers, HVAC, cooling towers, compressors, and pumps.\n\n Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.\n\n Good understanding of industrial utility systems.\n\n Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and respond to
