From defining requirements and exploring architectures to designing, verifying and improving solutions, you will see your work through the hardware development lifecycle.\nLocation: Gothenburg\nWhat you will do\nHelp turn system and product requirements into clear hardware specifications, drawing on higher-level requirements, directives and technical standards.\n\nExplore technical possibilities through pre-studies, propose hardware architectures and select key components.\n\nDesign and implement hardware solutions, contributing as a hardware engineer and, on some projects, as hardware project manager.\n\nPlan and carry out hardware verification at functional-block, product and system levels, and document your findings in verification specifications and reports.\n\nDocument design solutions, review colleagues’ designs, arrange reviews of your own work and participate in type-approval testing.\n\nSolve urgent issues and carry out planned maintenance on existing products.\n\nShare technical knowledge across teams and projects, propose and supervise thesis work, and help improve the laboratory environment.\n\nCommunicate progress and deviations from specifications and plans, keep pace with relevant technologies and continue developing your expertise.\n\nAct as the EX HW Appointed person for Mobility.\n\nWhat you will bring\nA BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and at least five years of experience in a similar role.\n\nThe ability to translate high-level requirements into requirements and design specifications, and deliver high-quality electronic designs.\n\nAn understanding of how design choices affect the wider system, costs and the customer experience.\n\nThe confidence to work independently and collaborate with colleagues and partners inside and outside the company.\n\nFluent spoken English and Swedish and the ability to write clear technical documentation in English.\n\nGeneral knowledge of the company’s products and systems.\n\nWhat makes you a great match\nYou are curious about how things work-and how they could work better.
