Ascot exists to solve for our clients’ brightest tomorrow, through agility, collaboration, resilience, and discipline.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nResponsible for the management of workflow of assigned underwriting products within the Professional Lines (Ascot Pro) business units (i.e. Cyber, Misc. and Lawyers Professional Liability, Healthcare).\n\nGain a strong understanding of business processes by leveraging standardized workflows and compliance guidelines.\n\nProvide support to assigned underwriters throughout the policy lifecycle, which includes, but is not limited to clearance, binders, invoices, complex policies and endorsements, cancellations, renewals, non-renewals, and reinstatements.\n\nQA policies to ensure accuracy.\n\nEnsure all work is processed accurately and according to Service Level Agreements\n\nProvides ongoing guidance and support to the offshore team as needed.\n\nCollaborate with the offshore team and Ascot Service Center as needed.\n\nCommunicate effectively with underwriters and brokers to secure the information necessary to accurately process the business.\n\nSupport finance, systems, data, andactuarial teams in ad-hoc tasks.\n\nIdentify areas for improvement, create and implement solutions when needed.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n3 -5 years’ experience in insurance industry\n\nHigh school diploma, college degree preferred.\n\nPrior experience with Financial Lines products required.\n\nExperience with Subscribe, IMS and ODEN Policy Terminator a plus.\n\nStrong computer and typing skills.\n\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nDemonstrates effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.\n\nFocused eye for detail and accuracy.\n\nTakes ownership and responsibility of performance and results. \nProvides service excellence to internal and external partners, delivering an experience that exceeds the customer’s expectations.\nStrong time management and organizational skills.\n\nDesire to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.\n\n***This position may be filled at a different level, depending on experience***\nCompensation\nActual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual cash bonus, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company.
