Founded in 1997, and providing nationwide services, ASG has teams based in North America, South America, and Europe.\nWe are Looking for:\nThe Audio Engineer supports the audio needs of studio events, contributing to overall success and impact on each occasion.\nJob Responsibilities:\nEnsure a well-mixed event for both streaming and event space experience.\n\nWork with presenters to properly place and track lay microphones.\n\nPrepare, organize, and track handheld microphones as needed.\n\nUse and follow the run-of-show document as a guide for proper show flow.\n\nPartner with other crew members on the execution of audio elements both before and during shows.\n\nAttending pre-show production meetings with crew to review responsibilities.\n\nEnsure testing of all show's playback elements for proper playout.\n\nFollowing the event content closely to execute with maximum quality.\n\nBe responsible for ensuring that proper audio levels for records are precise.\n\nProgram and operate mixers, microphones, and all ancillary audio gear.\n\nConduct audio gear configuration upgrades and develop new show elements.\n\nPerform regular maintenance checks on audio equipment.\n\nTroubleshoot and address technical issues during events: signal flow, clocking, networking, RF, etc.\n\nEnsure clear and balanced sound for all elements, including vocals, instruments, and other audio sources. Keep all audio equipment functioning properly and up to date\n\nCommission new audio equipment and systems\n\nTune PA systems\n\nSubject matter expert on all broadcast and live audio equipment including consoles, intercom systems, teleconferencing integration, etc.\n\nRF Coordination\n\nRecord voice-overs, productions, or other types of audio content\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for all audio production questions for unique shows or new asks\n\nDevelop workflows for changing show and client needs: integrating new technologies into event spaces, expanding or modifying existing systems, upgrading system elements\n\nPartner closely with production operators and producers to inform them of workflows, and get their feedback.\n\nOccasionally help production operators with other event needs\n\nAdhere to schedules and accurately record time worked\n\nCan step in as A2 to support another A1 as needed\n\nQualifications and Experience:\nProficiency in operating Audio Mixing tools and consoles, specifically ISSL Live L100 Audio Desk and Shure Wireless Workbench.\n\nAbility to program and operate mixers, microphones, and other audio equipment effectively.\n\nGood understanding of audio transport standards such as Dante, MADI, and Twinlane.\n\nStrong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team, including talent, producers, and directors.\n\nAbility to multitask and adapt to rapid show-flow changes in a live and fluid environment.\n\nExcellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment.\n\nAbility to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem.\n\nExcellent communication
