This position will support the Unified Communications (UC) program as an AV Project Coordinator within the Customer Experience division in Arlington County’s Department of Technology Services. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project work assignments to ensure the successful completion of conference room installations. While much of this work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person site visits will be required due to the nature of this work.\n Responsibilities\nCoordinating logistical activities of vendor, internal DTS staff and users for all\ninstallations\nFacilitating project meetings\nTracking and validating equipment deliveries\nServing as primary point of contact for communication with departments to provide\nnotification of upcoming work efforts\nProviding status reports during scheduled project meetings\nEscalating functional, quality, timeline issues to UC Program Manager and AV\nengineering team\nCoordinating the removal of existing equipment according to the County’s surplus\ndisposal process, where applicable\nAssisting the UC Program Manager and AV engineering team as required\nExperience\n8+ years of technical program or project management experience leading large\ncapital projects required.
