(ISP Technologies, Inc.) business at our Texas City, Texas plant. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the maintenance function. This position will report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDevelops detailed job plans for electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical maintenance activities, including scope, labor, materials, tools, and permits.\nPlans and schedules preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work using site’s computerized maintenance management system, (e.g., Maximo).\nReviews work requests to ensure work orders are properly scoped, prioritized, and ready for execution.\nCoordinates with Maintenance Supervisors, Operations, and Engineering to align schedules to minimize equipment downtime.\nPrepares and maintains weekly and daily maintenance schedules for I&E technical and mechanical work.\nIdentifies required spare parts and materials, verifies availability, and coordinates procurement as needed.\nSupports maintenance execution during shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start-up activities.\nEnsures all maintenance plans comply with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.\nMaintains accurate job plans, equipment history, and maintenance records within the maintenance database system.\nPlans then coordinate maintenance activities for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, gearboxes, agitators, and mixers.\nDevelops job plans for mechanical maintenance activities such as alignment, balancing, lubrication, seal replacement, and bearing inspections.\nSupports troubleshooting of mechanical and rotating equipment failures to reduce recurring issues and downtime.\nCoordinates condition monitoring activities such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography.\nInterfaces with mechanical contractors, vibration vendors, and OEMs for specialized repairs and inspections.\nSupports mechanical work execution during turnarounds and major maintenance events.\nActively contributes to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing goals and focusing on performance and safety.\nImproves the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others\nWhat This Role Is Not:\nA remote job. Onsite availability and daily interaction is required.\nNot a management position - while you will collaborate with other team members, this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.\nNot an entry level position - we need a candidate to hit the ground running with solid experience and a background to prove it.\nIn order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:\nMinimum of 5 years’ field experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing environment.\nHS Diploma or equivalent.\nStrong working knowledge of electrical power distribution, MCCs, motors, drives, PLCs, DCS, and industrial instrumentation.\nHands-on experience troubleshooting I&E equipment.\nSolid knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical maintenance practices.\nExperience using maintenance management database systems, preferably Maximo.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals.\nStrong planning, organizational, and communication skills.\nWell versed in maintenance and reliability planning, troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, mechanical standards, budgeting process, and cost control.\nAbility to respond appropriately during site emergencies as directed by site emergency manager. \nCapable of evacuating manufacturing process areas in a timely manner in an emergency. \nAble to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when working or visiting within the manufacturing process area. May include hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, or other equipment as required by work performed and location where work is performed.\nAble to perform physical activities including walking in and around a manufacturing facility, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting 25 lbs., or reaching depending on work activity required. Work is performed in an office/plant environment with frequent trips to the operating and manufacturing areas to formulate plans, inspect equipment or processes and collect data. \nTravel within Texas or around the United States for required training to perform job properly may be required.\nA valid driver’s license to operate plant vehicles if need arises.\nMust be authorized to work in the US.\nThe following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:\nPrior experience supporting maintenance planning for pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.\nBasic mechanical maintenance background is desirable.\nPrior roles in chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing facilities.\nFamiliarity with reliability tools such as RCA, FMEA, and condition-based maintenance.\nKnowledge of applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations (NFPA, OSHA).\nPerks of working at Ashland:\nTeam recognition rewards, and monetary incentives based on performance.\nUp to 10% of annual salary bonus based on company and individual performance.\nComprehensive Benefit package, Medical, Dental and Vision starting on Day 1 for you AND your family\n401(k) plan with company match\nFull time, salaried position, which is plant based, schedule primarily M-F, hours will align with maintenance department.
