The position will report to the Maintenance Manager.\nThis is a Onsite full-time position.\nKey Responsibilities\nEquipment Maintenance\nPerform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment such as:Blender\nHammer Mill\nSieving Equipment\nCIP Systems\nMaterial Handling Systems\nPackaging Equipment\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation faults.\nEnsure timely restoration of equipment during breakdown situations.\nAssist in installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.\nUtility Systems Maintenance\nMaintain plant utility systems including:HVAC Systems\nAir Handling Units (AHU)\nCompressed Air Systems\nChillers\nWater Systems\nDust Extraction Systems\nElectrical Distribution Panels\n\nMonitor utility performance and report abnormalities.\nGMP Compliance\nFollow GMP, GDP, Data Integrity, and EHS requirements at all times.\nEnsure maintenance activities are completed as per approved SOPs and work instructions.\nMaintain equipment logbooks and maintenance records.\nSupport internal, customer, and regulatory audits.\nEnsure equipment status labels and documentation are updated after maintenance work.\nCalibration & Validation Support\nAssist in calibration of instruments and monitoring devices.\nSupport equipment qualification and validation activities.\nParticipate in commissioning and performance verification of new equipment.\nDocumentation & SAP\nRecord maintenance activities in SAP CMMS or maintenance management systems.\nRaise maintenance work orders and close completed tasks.\nMaintain spare parts consumption records.\nUpdate preventive maintenance schedules and checklists.\nSafety & Environment\nFollow all safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and confined space requirements.\nUse appropriate PPE during maintenance activities.\nReport unsafe conditions and participate in safety improvement initiatives.\nMaintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in maintenance areas.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.\nParticipate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and reliability improvement programs.\nSuggest energy-saving and maintenance cost-reduction initiatives.\nQualifications\nDiploma or BE in Electrical engineering discipline.\nAdditional certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or automation is preferred.\nExperience\n3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, API, Formulation, Excipient, food, nutraceutical, or chemical manufacturing plant.\nExperience working with blending, milling, dispensing, and utility equipment is preferred.\nFamiliarity with Plant Maintenance Module is desirable.\nTechnical Skills\nMechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.\nElectrical maintenance and fault finding.\nPneumatic and hydraulic systems.\nHVAC and utility equipment maintenance.\nReading engineering drawings and P&IDs.\nPreventive and predictive maintenance practices.\nSAP PM or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA).\nBehavioral Competencies\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nAttention to detail.\nTeamwork and collaboration.\nSafety awareness.\nEffective communication.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage breakdown situations.\nContinuous learning mindset.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nEquipment Uptime (%)\nPreventive Maintenance Compliance (%)\nBreakdown Response Time\nMean Time to Repair (MTTR)\nMean Time Between Failures (MTBF)\nMaintenance Cost Control\nAudit Compliance Score\nSpare Parts Inventory Accuracy\nZero Safety Violations\nGMP Documentation Compliance\nAuthority\nExecute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.\nRecommend equipment repairs and spare part requirements.\nStop equipment operation if unsafe conditions are identified.\nInitiate maintenance work orders and escalation of critical breakdowns.\nIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
