This is a very visible, significant role within the Company. The position will report to the Plant manager.\nThis is an Onsite full-time position.\nKey Responsibilities;\nProduction Planning\nPrepare weekly and monthly production plans based on customer forecasts, sales orders, inventory, and production capacity.\nConvert demand forecasts into executable production schedules.\nMonitor production plan adherence and coordinate with production teams to resolve scheduling issues.\nOptimize machine utilization and manufacturing throughput.\nEnsure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.\nDemand & Sales Coordination\nCoordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams to understand customer requirements, forecasts, and delivery commitments.\nReview customer orders and prioritize production schedules to meet delivery timelines.\nParticipate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings.\nMonitor demand fluctuations and update plans accordingly. \nProcurement Coordination\nWork closely with Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.\nGenerate material requirement plans (MRP) through SAP.\nMonitor material shortages and proactively initiate procurement actions.\nFollow up with suppliers and procurement teams regarding critical materials impacting production.\nInventory Management\nMaintain optimum inventory levels for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.\nAnalyze slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory.\nMonitor stock coverage and recommend inventory optimization initiatives.\nCoordinate with Warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy.\nDispatch & Logistics Coordination\nCoordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams for timely dispatch of finished products.\nEnsure dispatch schedules align with customer delivery requirements.\nMonitor pending orders and shipment status.\nSupport transportation planning and dispatch documentation.\nSAP Management\nUtilize SAP for production planning, inventory management, MRP execution, and reporting.\nMaintain planning parameters, BOMs, routing data, and master data accuracy.\nGenerate and analyze planning, inventory, and service-level reports from SAP.\nEnsure timely closure of production orders and inventory transactions.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nCoordinate daily with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, and Sales departments.\nFacilitate communication to minimize production disruptions and order delays.\nEscalate risks related to material shortages, capacity constraints, and delivery commitments.\nContinuous Improvement\nDrive initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce inventory carrying costs and improve service levels.\nSupport implementation of lean manufacturing and supply chain optimization projects.\nIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
