The position will report to the Assistant Production Manager.\nThis is a Onsite full-time position.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nSupervise daily production activities as per production plan.\nEnsure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.\nMonitor manufacturing processes to achieve targeted productivity and quality standards.\nCoordinate dispensing, blending, milling, filling, packing, and cleaning activities.\nEnsure adherence to batch schedules and timely completion of production orders.\nSupport commissioning and qualification activities for new equipment.\nPossess strong understanding of color matching principles, pigment behavior, and shade evaluation.\nReview and verify color consistency of batches against approved standards.\nCoordinate with QC and R&D teams for shade corrections and product adjustments.\nInvestigate color variation issues and implement corrective actions.\nMaintain color matching records and ensure customer-specific shade requirements are met.\nSupport development and scale-up of new colors and formulations.\nEnsure strict compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.\nReview and verify Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), equipment logbooks, and production documents.\nEnsure online documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.\nParticipate in internal audits and regulatory inspections.\nSupervise operation of equipment such as Amixon Blender,IBC Blender, Hammer Mill, Vibro Sifter, CIP System and Filling and Packing Equipment\nCoordinate preventive maintenance activities with Engineering.\nMonitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS standards.\nConduct toolbox talks and safety observations.\nEnsure proper use of PPE and safe operating practices.\nReport and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.\nLead and supervise production operators and technicians.\nConduct training and skill development programs.\nMonitor attendance, discipline, and performance of production personnel.\nFoster teamwork and continuous improvement culture.\nParticipate in Lean, 5S, and productivity improvement initiatives.\nSupport cost reduction and waste minimization projects.\nDrive process optimization and operational excellence initiatives.\nIn order to be qualified for this role, youmust possessthe following:\nA minimum 3-6 years of manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, excipient, coating, chemical, or related industries.\nMinimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in production operations.\nExperience in color coating products and color matching processes preferred.\nThe following skill sets arepreferred by the business unit:\n· Diploma / B.Sc. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Industrial Chemistry, or related discipline.\nIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
