This is a very visible, significant role within the Company, the position will report to the Plant manager.\nThis is a Onsite full time position.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nSupervise receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.\nEnsure proper segregation, identification, and storage of materials as per GMP requirements.\nCoordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities with transporters and vendors.\nMonitor loading and unloading activities to ensure safe material handling.\nMaintain FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices.\nEnsure timely availability of materials to production as per production plans.\nCoordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, and Planning teams for smooth operations.\nPerform and monitor SAP transactions related to:\nGoods Receipt (GRN)\nGoods Issue (GI)\nTransfer Posting\nStock Transfer\nInventory Reconciliation\nBatch Management\nDispatch Documentation\n\nEnsure real-time and accurate inventory transactions in SAP.\nGenerate inventory, stock movement, and logistics reports from SAP.\nSupport inventory audits and cycle count activities.\nEnsure warehouse and logistics activities comply with GMP, GDP, and company quality requirements.\nMaintain documentation as per GMP requirements.\nEnsure proper status labeling of materials (Approved, Quarantine, Rejected).\nParticipate in GMP training programs and ensure team compliance.\nSupport audits conducted by customers, regulatory agencies, and internal auditors.\nAssist in investigation and closure of deviations, CAPA, and change controls related to warehouse operations.\nMonitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.\nConduct periodic cycle counts and annual physical inventory verification.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nMinimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolescence.\nEnsure compliance with EHS policies and safe warehouse practices.\nMonitor safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, stackers, and pallet trucks. \nConduct safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture.\nReport and address unsafe conditions and near-miss incidents.\nSupervise warehouse operators and logistics staff.\nAllocate daily work and monitor performance.\nProvide training on GMP, SAP, safety, and warehouse procedures.\nPromote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nIn order to be qualified for this role, youmust possessthe following:\n3-5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations in pharmaceutical, excipient, chemical, food, or regulated manufacturing industries.\nMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.\nHands-on experience in SAP ERP systems.\nThe following skill sets arepreferred by the business unit:\nGraduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Science, or related discipline.\nDiploma or certification in Supply Chain/Logistics Management preferred.\nIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
