Combining offshore project work with onshore planning and reporting, you'll play a key role in delivering subsea inspection, 3D modelling, and mooring integrity projects.\nThis role is hybrid onshore / offshore with approximately 100 days offshore per year globally.\nThis is an exciting role that encompasses exposure to offshore inspection operations, project delivery and emerging inspection technologies, creating excellent opportunities for continued technical and professional progression within the Asset Integrity team.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nSupport the planning and delivery of offshore inspection projects, including subsea 3D modelling and mooring integrity surveys.\nPrepare project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, task plans, and technical reports.\nSelect, test, calibrate, and prepare inspection equipment to ensure systems are fully operational for deployment.\nTravel offshore to operate inspection systems, troubleshoot equipment, and deliver safe, efficient data acquisition.\nCarry out data QA/QC and produce high-quality reports and 3D models to support client decision-making.\nBuild strong relationships with clients by participating in project meetings and providing technical support throughout project delivery.\nManage equipment demobilisation, post-project testing, and defect reporting to maintain operational readiness.\nSupport business development activities, equipment demonstrations, and training initiatives while maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards.\nWhat experience you'll bring:\nHND or above (or equivalent) in Survey Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline.\nAbility and willingness to undertake approximately 100 days offshore per year globally.\nStrong IT skills and ability to work with technical project data and software applications.\nPrevious experience in offshore, survey, inspection or ROV operations and knowledge of mooring systems and inspection techniques is preferred.\nHands-on competence with electronic, electrical or mechanical systems used in subsea environments and 3D modelling data capture and model generation also beneficial.\nWho we are:\nEstablished in 1985, Ashtead Technology is a leading provider of subsea equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services to the global offshore energy sector.
