Monitor and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, covering availability, performance, storage, backups, SQL Agent jobs, telemetry collection and overall platform health.\n\nTroubleshoot and tune. Diagnose T-SQL issues, tune queries, manage indexes and statistics, and perform routine maintenance.\n\nProtect the data. Run and validate backups, perform test and production restores, and support recovery activities in line with business continuity requirements.\n\nOwn the alerts. Monitor, triage, classify and investigate alerts using Azure Log Analytics, Application Insights and other operational tools.\n\nRun operations with discipline.
