You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and other\nstakeholders to streamline workflows, improve automation, and optimize system reliability\nand scalability. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in DevOps practices, strong\nproblem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across\ncross-functional teams while maintaining DevOps culture and practices across the\norganization.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Angular, and other\napplications using Jenkins and Azure DevOps for faster, reliable releases.\n• Implement and maintain robust security measures, including identity and access\nmanagement, encryption, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g. SOC 2, HIPAA).\n• Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost-saving measures across the\ninfrastructure.\n• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and best practices.\n• Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and IT professionals\nto ensure smooth deployment, automation, and management of software\ninfrastructure.\n• Automate software deployment, configuration, and upkeep processes to minimize\nmanual intervention and improve system efficiency.\n• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Groovy, Python,\nand other scripting languages.\n• Utilize Git or similar version control systems for code management, ensuring\ncollaboration and codebase integrity, and implement Artifactory for managing all\nartifacts, binaries, and packages such as Nexus and JFrog.\n• Create and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like New\nRelic and Sentry to ensure high availability and performance.\n• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, including provisioning\nand configuring virtual machines, containers (Docker, Azure Docker, Kubernetes), and\nstorage solutions such as Amazon S3.\n• Implement security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and\nvulnerability scanning tools such as SonarQube, MEND and Tenable, to protect\ncompany data and systems.\n• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal\ndowntime and disruption to business operations.\n• Configure and manage networking components (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, and\nfirewalls) and support databases and datastores such as SQL Server and Redis to\nensure optimal performance and security.\n• Stay updated on industry trends, assess impact, and recommend relevant technologies\nfor software infrastructure.\n• Collaborate in an Agile environment, utilizing project management and workflow tools\nsuch as Jira to align efforts with team goals and objectives.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;\nMaster's degree preferred.\n• 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Windows\nenvironments and IIS.\n• Experience in managing and deploying .NET & Angular applications.\n• Expert knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD tools like\nJenkins and Azure DevOps.\n• Proficient with Git CLI, Git branching and merging strategies, release management,\nand merge conflict resolution.\n• Proven expertise in languages like PowerShell, Groovy, and Python.\n• Expert knowledge of managing IIS, Windows Services and NPM.\n• Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code tools beyond Terraform, such as AWS\nCloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager templates.\n• Experience with repository management tools such as Nexus for managing and\norganizing software artifacts.\n• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic and Sentry.\n• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers,\nand firewalls (CloudFlare).\n• Experience in implementing SAST and SCA tools such as Tenable, SonarQube and\nMEND in the deployment pipeline.\n• Experience supporting databases or datastores such as SQL Server, MySQL, Elastic\nServer and Redis.\n• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure, must have prior\nexperience with Amazon S3 and serverless computing platforms like AWS Lambda or\nAzure Functions.\n• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Azure Docker, and\norchestration tools like Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized\napplications.\n• Proficiency in managing and optimizing Elastic Search deployments to ensure efficient\nand scalable search functionalities within the infrastructure.\n• Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile and Jira.\n• Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security controls at\nthe infrastructure level plus compliance with relevant standards (e.g. SOC 2, HIPAA).\n• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and the\nsoftware development lifecycle.\n• Excellent understanding of data structures and object-oriented principles.\n• Ability to provide regular updates, system solutions, and communicate issues to the\nmanagement team.\n• Constantly strive to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date in the rapidly changing\nindustry.\n• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-\nfunctional teams.\n• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
