Information Officer, the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer engineers, operates, and safeguards the Company’s hybrid infrastructure supporting critical trading, clearing, surveillance, and corporate services.\nThe role spans compute, operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup, networking, and public cloud platforms, with a strong focus on service availability, performance, security, resilience, and recoverability within a regulated exchange environment.\nThe successful candidate will be a hands-on infrastructure professional with proven technical depth in at least one core infrastructure domain and sufficient breadth to diagnose and manage issues across integrated technology environments.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, operate, and maintain secure and resilient infrastructure across the Company’s data centres, corporate offices, and public cloud environments.\nAdminister and support enterprise compute infrastructure, Linux and Windows servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and core infrastructure services.\nConfigure, administer, and monitor network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN gateways, proxy servers, DNS, DHCP, WAN links, and related components.\nManage public cloud infrastructure and hybrid cloud connectivity, including virtual networks, routing, security controls, resource monitoring, and infrastructure migration activities.\nMonitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security, and proactively address potential risks, service degradation, and capacity constraints.\nPlan and execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, patching, maintenance, migrations, and technology lifecycle activities in accordance with the Company’s change management and security requirements.\nRespond to infrastructure incidents, coordinate service restoration, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.\nImplement and maintain infrastructure security controls, including system and network hardening, secure configuration baselines, vulnerability remediation, access controls, patch management, and security monitoring.\nProvide Level 2 and Level 3 escalation support for infrastructure-related issues affecting production and corporate environments.\nPerform connectivity testing, troubleshooting, circuit provisioning, and migration activities for trading and clearing members.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, backup restoration, system failover, and infrastructure resilience exercises, and follow through on identified improvement actions.\nMaintain accurate and current architecture diagrams, network diagrams, configuration records, operating procedures, recovery runbooks, and other technical documentation.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders, technology vendors, cloud service providers, telecommunications carriers, and external counterparties on infrastructure operations, projects, and incident resolution.\nProvide technical input and supporting evidence for risk assessments, security reviews, internal and external audits, and regulatory inspections.\nParticipate in scheduled maintenance and provide after-hours support for critical production incidents when required.\n\nRequirements:\nAt least five years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, preferably within a highly available, business-critical, or regulated environment.\nDemonstrated technical depth in at least one core infrastructure domain, such as systems, networking, virtualization, storage, or public cloud, together with sound working knowledge across the broader infrastructure landscape.\nHands-on experience administering Linux and/or Windows Server environments and associated enterprise infrastructure services.\nPractical experience with enterprise virtualization, storage, backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery technologies.\nExperience designing, deploying, operating, or migrating infrastructure within a public cloud or hybrid cloud environment.\nSound knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, WAN connectivity, and network troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with public cloud networking, security controls, identity and access management, infrastructure monitoring, and data centre-to-cloud connectivity.\nGood understanding of infrastructure security practices, including system hardening, vulnerability management, patch management, access control, security monitoring, and incident response.\nExperience supporting production environments through disciplined incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure monitoring, configuration management, automation, and scripting would be advantageous.\nKnowledge of data centre operations, equipment installation standards, structured cabling, cross-connects, and telecommunications circuit management.\nExperience in a financial institution, exchange, brokerage, clearing house, or other regulated environment would be advantageous.\nRelevant professional certifications, such as CCNP, RHCE, or an infrastructure certification from a major public cloud provider, are preferred.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.\nSelf-motivated, dependable, and able to exercise sound judgment while managing multiple priorities in a time-sensitive production environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nProficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous for liaising with Chinese-speaking vendors and
