This opportunity is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in healthcare consulting, financial analysis, business valuation, or physician compensation.\nWorking under the guidance of experienced consulting professionals, the intern will support project teams through financial data analysis, market research, spreadsheet preparation, and report development. This position provides hands-on exposure to client engagements while building practical analytical, technical, and professional skills.\nThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, dependable, and eager to learn in a collaborative, deadline-driven consulting environment.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nValuation & Analytical Support\nAssist with collecting, organizing, and reviewing financial, operational, compensation, and market data.\nConduct preliminary research on healthcare industry trends, compensation benchmarks, comparable organizations, and valuation methodologies.\nPrepare and update Excel spreadsheets, analytical schedules, and supporting calculations.\nHelp organize physician compensation and productivity data and identify potential trends or inconsistencies.\nPerform basic quality checks of data, calculations, and supporting documentation under supervision.\nProject & Client Support\nAssist project teams with organizing assignments, maintaining files, and tracking deadlines.\nParticipate in internal meetings and, when appropriate, client calls to gain exposure to consulting engagements.\nCollaborate with analysts, managers, directors, partners, and other team members.\nCommunicate project progress, ask questions, and incorporate feedback into assigned work.\nReports & Deliverables\nAssist with preparing draft valuation reports, advisory letters, charts, tables, and exhibits.\nOrganize analytical findings and supporting documentation for inclusion in client deliverables.\nProofread materials for accuracy, formatting, consistency, and completeness.\nIncorporate revisions and feedback from experienced team members.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nPreferred Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.\nRelevant coursework in financial analysis, accounting, statistics, economics, or healthcare finance.\nPrevious professional experience is not required. Related internships, academic projects, research, or data analysis experience are a plus.\nInterest in healthcare consulting, valuation, financial analysis, or physician compensation.\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nTechnical & Analytical Skills\nBasic understanding of finance, accounting, and business concepts.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, formatting, and data organization.\nProficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.\nStrong analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.\nAbility to organize information, identify potential errors, and communicate findings clearly.\nWillingness to develop advanced Excel, financial modeling, and valuation skills.\nProfessional Skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nEffective organizational and time-management abilities.\nAbility to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines with appropriate guidance.\nDependability, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions and accept feedback.\nAbility to work collaboratively and professionally with team members.\nIntellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE\nSuccess in this internship means demonstrating a willingness to learn, producing accurate work, meeting assigned deadlines, and contributing positively to the team.
