As a Senior Field Application Engineer, you will support customer technology ramps, process optimization, high-volume manufacturing (HVM), and fab startup activities while serving as a trusted technical advisor and problem solver.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead customer-facing projects supporting technology node transitions, fab startup, production ramp, and process optimization.\nDrive technical issue resolution using data analysis, root cause investigation, and structured problem-solving methodologies.\nCollaborate with customer engineering teams and ASML global experts to improve process control, overlay performance, yield, and productivity.\nSupport new product introduction (NPI), qualification, manufacturing readiness, and technology transfer activities.\nAct as the primary interface between customers and ASML application, product, and development organizations.\nLead technical reviews, training sessions, and customer engagements.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to building local application engineering capabilities.\nDevelop and share best practices, knowledge, and technical expertise\nTravel of approximately Education & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).\n4+ years of experience in Applications Engineering, Process Engineering, Yield Engineering, Lithography, Metrology, or Semiconductor Manufacturing.\nCustomer-facing experience supporting technical projects and escalations.\nExperience with technology ramps, yield improvement, process control, or fab startup environments preferred.\nStrong analytical capabilities using Python, MATLAB, JMP, SQL, or similar tools.\nSkills\nSemiconductor process control, lithography, metrology, and overlay knowledge.\nStrong problem-solving, statistical analysis, and data interpretation skills.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership capabilities.\nAbility to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced customer environments.\nProven mentoring, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nOther Information\nUp to 25% travel may be required.\nMay involve long-term customer-site assignments and international collaboration.\nAbility to work in semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environments.\n\nKey Competencies: Customer Focus, Technical Leadership, Data Analysis, Problem Solving, Metrology, Lithography, Process Control, Yield Improvement, Product Applications, Programming, and Stakeholder Management.\nThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
