You will work on practical AI solutions that support faster issue detection, improved root-cause analysis, and smarter testing decisions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the future of AI-driven software quality engineering in a large-scale technology environment.\nYour assignment\nIn this internship, you will collaborate with software engineers, test architects, and platform specialists to identify where AI can add the most value across the software testing lifecycle. Rather than focusing on theoretical research, you will build and validate solutions that improve how software quality is assessed and managed. You will help translate business challenges into practical AI applications and demonstrate their impact in a real engineering environment. Your main responsibilities will be:\nAnalyze AI opportunities together with software and test engineers\nDevelop AI-driven prototypes and proof-of-concepts\nBuild AI agents that support software issue assessment and root-cause analysis\nEvaluate how AI can improve testing, qualification, and automation activities\nMeasure the impact and business value of proposed solutions\nPresent findings, recommendations, and adoption guidance to engineering stakeholders\nThis is a bachelor/master internship for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (2 days on-site, but flexible). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible\nYour profile\nTo be suitable for the internship, you:\nAre pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field\nHave programming experience in Python and familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages\nHave hands-on experience designing and building AI-driven applications, prototypes, or intelligent workflows\nHave knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, or Large Language Models\nHave strong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAre proactive, curious, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams\n Other requirements you need to meet:\nYou are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship;\nIf you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);\nYou attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;\nYou need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your application shows the willingness to relocate.\nThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
