The work is not closely supervised.\nWorks on problems of moderate scope where the analysis of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors.\nRole and responsibilities\nKey EHS processes (e.g. Incident Management, Compliance Management, JSA/Risk Management, Inspections/ Audits, Sustainability Reporting)\nExecutes existing EHS processes.\nEnsuring a high quality of EHS advice.\nTechnical competence areas (e.g. Laser Safety, Electrical Safety, Radiation, Hazardous Materials, Ergonomics, Waste, Energy, CO2 emissions, Life Cycle Assessments)\nShares knowledge on technical competence areas in an operational working environment.\nEHS data analysis & improvements\nResponsible for MOP data for factory/ location.\nEnsures data completeness in myEHS.\nUses reporting dashboards in myEHS.\nEnhance EHS culture & communication\nSupports the improvement of the EHS culture within own factory/ location\nSupports sector EHS culture improvement initiatives.\nSupports in drafting EHS communication material.\nEducation and experience\nExperienced EHS Specialist (at least Bachelor degree) with working knowledge of the EHS function and the products and services of the business supported and with profound knowledge of the theoretical background.\nAbility to work in a dynamic operational business environment.\nCustomer focus (internal or external).\nCollaborates in a positive and efficient manner.\nCommunicates effectively to stakeholders; stays friendly at all times; provides constructive feedback and listens carefully to any feedback given.\nDrives results to ensure EHS improvements at own location/ factory.\nSkills\nCan communicate in both Japanese and English\nSafety Forman certified. If not, willing to get it.\nThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
