This role oversees operational and technical readiness, supports new product introductions, and ensures stable daily operations through a skilled, motivated, and sustainable team. The position holds full accountability for site operational performance, including service delivery, installed base performance, safety, customer satisfaction, and agreed operational KPIs. Close collaboration is required with local and global account teams, internal ASML functions, external suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure aligned execution, operational excellence, and long-term customer support success.\nFunctional competency\nSite operation and direction: Develop short- and long-term operational plans for site establishment, ramp-up, service delivery, and future growth, while driving continuous improvement and readiness for new product introductions.\n\nCustomer relationship and site performance: Build strong customer relationships, capture the voice of the customer, align on service expectations, and deliver operational excellence against service levels and KPIs.\n\nBusiness and commercial sense: Manage cost, quality, commitments, and operational priorities while balancing customer expectations and ASML business objectives.\n\nOrganization development: Build a high-performing and diverse team through workforce planning, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and capability development.\n\nStakeholder alignment and execution: Integrate and synchronize site operations across internal functions, regional teams, external suppliers, and account teams, while managing escalations and ensuring safe, effective execution.\n\nEducation and experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\n15+ years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry; multinational company experience preferred.\n\nProven senior management experience in leading site operations, including greenfield or start-up environments.\n\nExperience in customer service field operations preferred.\n\nStrong capability in establishing strategic customer relationships and managing complex stakeholder environments.\n\nGeneral project management expertise required.\n\nCapabilities & Soft skill\nStrong leadership capability to inspire, engage, and develop a high-performing team in a dynamic and demanding environment.\n\nAbility to think and act both strategically and operationally, with sound judgment and timely decision-making.\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams locally, regionally, and globally.\n\nCustomer-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to manage pressure, resolve escalations, and maintain service performance.\n\nOpen, transparent, and speak-up leadership style with strong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nStrong organizational development capability, including coaching, performance management, succession planning, and team capability growth.\n\nCommitment to safety, integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.\n\nFluent in verbal and written English communication.\n\nWorking location: India office / customer site (Gujarat, Dholera).\nInclusion and diversity\nASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
