Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.\nRole and Responsibilities\nAs a Customs Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, helping ASML navigate complex customs requirements while supporting business objectives. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen compliance programs, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.\nYou will:\nMonitor customs laws and regulations and assess their impact on ASML’s business operations.\n\nAdvise leaders and stakeholders on customs implications related to business decisions and strategic initiatives.\n\nPartner with finance, legal, compliance, and other business functions to provide integrated customs guidance.\n\nDevelop, implement, and continuously improve customs compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.\n\nMaintain and enhance customs control frameworks, with a strong focus on U.S. customs compliance and risk mitigation.\n\nLead or support business improvement projects as the customs subject matter expert.\n\nRepresent ASML in interactions with customs authorities, including audits, rulings, agreements, and regulatory discussions.\n\nEducation and Experience\nTo be successful as a Customs Manager, you should have:\nBachelor’s degree in business, international trade, supply chain management, law, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in customs compliance, international trade, or related regulatory disciplines.\n\nExperience managing customs compliance programs within the United States.\n\nExperience leading customs initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance across multiple business functions.\n\nMaster’s degree in a related field preferred.\n\nLicensed Customs Broker certification preferred.\n\nExperience within the semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or machinery industries preferred.\n\nSkills\nWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that.
