You will focus on creating a modular system backbone that supports data intake, analysis planning, validation, and reproducible reporting. The framework should be scalable and designed for future extensions, including advanced modeling capabilities and intelligent user interaction. Your main responsibilities will be:\nDefine a structured analysis specification for measurement studies\nDevelop a prototype for data intake and data structure inspection\nBuild workflow selection mechanisms based on analysis objectives\nImplement validation checks to assess data quality and analysis suitability\nCreate reproducible reporting and workflow archiving functionalities\nDemonstrate the framework using representative measurement-analysis cases\nCollaborate with domain experts to translate analytical requirements into practical solutions\nThis is a bachelor/master internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 5 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2027, but an earlier start date is also possible.\nYour profile\nTo be suitable for the internship, you:\nAre pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field\nHave experience with Python programming and developing structured software solutions\nHave knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and machine learning concepts\nAre analytical and comfortable working with complex structured datasets\nAre proactive and able to communicate technical findings clearly\nHave experience with version control tools such as Git and reproducible development practices\nThis internship is ideal if you enjoy building practical analytical systems, combining software engineering with data science, and creating solutions that can be used by engineering teams.
