If you enjoy solving problems, exploring data, and taking initiative, this internship could be the right opportunity for you. \nYour assignment\nAs a Data Science | Engineering intern: optimizing business processes, you will support initiatives that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of business processes and data solutions. You will work on a variety of assignments rather than a single predefined project, giving you the opportunity to apply your analytical and technical skills across different business challenges. You will investigate problems, identify improvement opportunities, and help deliver solutions that create value for stakeholders.\nYour main responsibilities will be:\nAnalyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.\nInvestigate process inefficiencies and perform root cause analyses.\nImprove data pipelines, data quality, and process automation solutions.\nDevelop tools and solutions that simplify workflows and increase efficiency.\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data models and databases.\nConduct qualitative and quantitative research to support improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and recommend data-driven solutions.\nThis is a bachelor/master non-thesis internship for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2027.\nYour profile\nTo be suitable for the internship, you:\nAre pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, business information technology, or a related field.\nHave experience with programming and data analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Mendix or similar technologies.\nAre analytical and able to investigate complex problems using a structured approach.\nDemonstrate initiative, ownership, and the ability to work independently.\nCommunicate effectively in English and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.\nAre curious, proactive, and eager to contribute ideas that improve business outcomes.\nAdditional requirements:\nYou are enrolled at an educational institution throughout the entire internship period.\nYou are located in the Netherlands during the internship, or you are willing to relocate before the start date.\nIf you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your educational institution must be able to support the internship documentation requirements.\nJoin ASML through this internship and gain hands-on experience in a data-driven environment where your contributions can directly influence business performance.
