EUV represents a big leap forward in semiconductor manufacturing, enabling our customers to create even more powerful and more efficient chips.\nThis team will be based in Ireland as part of the EU EUV UIR department and will focus on flying out to customer sites around the world and supporting in the EU region. The team will primarily perform reinstalls but also other UIR (upgrade, install and relocation) activities as per business needs.\nRole and responsibilities\nTo be able to transfer a fully tested and qualified lithography machine at our client’s site, you will be cross trained in multiple activities within a unique cleanroom environment. Besides that, as an International UIR Mechanical Reinstall Engineer you will:\nPerform mechanical installation, adjustment, commissioning of a complete machine; \nInstall ASML equipment (NXE) at customer locations; \nPerform complex adjustments, perform upgrades, diagnose and solve problems with limited support; \nWork in accordance with the installation sequence and installation procedures; \nWork in shift schedule (12-hour rotations) at customer sites around the world; \nTake ownership, lead a shift to deliver quality; \nManage technical escalations; \nContribute to the improvement loop of our lithography machines and processes; \nRepresent ASML at the customer site in a professional way; \nWhen not working abroad, the engineer is expected to assist local customers. \nEducation and experience\nTo help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you need:\nExperienced vocational background or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably mechanical, aerospace, electronic, mechatronics engineering); \nHands-on experience in a high-tech production or customer service environment; \nProven affinity with assembling and troubleshooting is essential; \nA valid driver’s license; \nLegally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730 et seq.). \nSkills\nWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you always have new challenges and problems to solve. This percentage is an estimate and can be revisited in mutual agreement.\nThe home location will be Leixlip, Ireland. Main locations for travel are supporting worldwide, Israel and the in the European Union.
