In this role, you will be part of the Global Operational Excellence team, coordinating communications across the globe.\nJob Mission\nPeople Operations is the first point of contact for employees and managers for all HR services, policies, systems and transactions supporting the full employment life cycle. As a Global Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for communications strategy and operations for People Operations globally.\nJob Description\nDevelop and implement comprehensive communication strategies, governance, communication plans and communications calendar to support organizational initiatives and objectives.\n\nCollaborate with teams and senior leadership to assess communications objectives, channels, messages, identify stakeholders, and tailor communication approaches accordingly.\n\nShape storylines and be a strategic advisor as well as a hands-on communications professional.\n\nDesign and deliver engaging communication materials such as presentations, newsletters, emails, and intranet content to keep employees informed and engaged.\n\nCoordinate and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and PO all employee meetings to promote understanding and adoption of new processes, technologies, or organizational structures.\n\nEstablish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on People Operations objectives and projects.\n\nMonitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of communication strategies and adoption through feedback mechanisms and metrics you develop and own\n\nProvide guidance and support to managers and supervisors in effectively communicating to their teams and stakeholders\n\nAnticipate potential challenges and proactively develop communication strategies to mitigate risks.\n\nOwn engagement initiatives, execute on PO engagement activities\n\nEducation, Experience & Skills\nBachelor's degree in Communication, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.\n\nProven experience in internal / organizational communication including content creation, writing, editing and advisory to senior leadership. Ability to drive and monitor impact and adoption in the organization.\n\nStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.\n\nProficiency in using communication tools and platforms such as Microsoft M365 Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Viva Engage, Power Automate (process automation) or MAPP (mass mailing tool).\n\nDemonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\n\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making and evaluate outcomes.\n\nExperience with continuous improvement is a plus.\n\nExternal communications experience, experience with organizational change management and experience with deploying artificial intelligence is a plus.\n\nNative / fluency in English and certification in communications (& change management) is a plus.\n\nContext of the position\nWith all the exciting changes ahead, People Operations is the place to be at the moment: We are a highly enthusiastic team and are looking forward to being part of this dynamic journey. Your main stakeholders will be the global and regional Operational Excellence experts, the Global People Operations Leadership team, your People Operations colleagues, HR Expertise as well as HR Line and cross sector colleagues in similar roles. You will participate in regional and global meetings, projects and continuous improvements. The office location is Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
