As information protection becomes increasingly important with the adoption of cloud services, AI and modern collaboration platforms, you will have the opportunity to directly influence how sensitive information is protected across the organization. Working alongside experienced colleagues on large-scale and technically challenging security capabilities, you will also have room to further develop your expertise across DLP, cloud, AI security and broader information protection.\nRole and responsibilities\nAs Information protection engineer - data loss prevention, you will support the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of DLP controls across endpoint, network, cloud, email and collaboration environments. You will take responsibility for assigned engineering and operational activities.\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport the design and implementation of enterprise DLP controls that protect sensitive data without unnecessarily disrupting business\nConfigure, maintain and support Symantec DLP environments\nSupport the implementation and enhancement of Zscaler DLP capabilities across network, web and cloud traffic\nSupport the deployment and adoption of Microsoft Purview DLP\nDevelop and tune detection policies, response rules, exceptions and workflows\nInvestigate alerts, troubleshoot platform issues and contribute to root-cause analysis, with support for more complex cases\nCarry out upgrades, maintenance and lifecycle-management activities\nIntegrate DLP platforms with security monitoring and incident-management processes\nCollaborate with experienced engineers, security operations, cloud teams and service stakeholders\nContribute to automation, reporting and continuous improvement\nEducation and experience\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology or a related discipline\nApproximately 1 to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information protection, IT operations or a comparable technical role\nPractical experience with Symantec DLP or a comparable DLP platform\nPractical experience with Zscaler DLP or related Zscaler security capabilities\nExperience supporting security policies, controls or platforms in an enterprise environment\nExperience with Microsoft Purview DLP as well as experience with cloud security, SaaS environments, SIEM integration or Microsoft 365 Security is a plus\nScripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python or similar technologies is also a plus\nSkills\nWorking at the cutting edge of technology, you'll always have new challenges to solve, and collaboration is key to success.
