If you are interested in technology, risk, and cyber security, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global high-tech environment.\nYour assignment\nIn this role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the integrated IT control framework. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, risk, assurance, and cyber security to understand how risks are translated into controls and how organizations demonstrate compliance and security. You will contribute to a real transformation program while developing practical knowledge of IT controls, risk management, and cyber security. Your main responsibilities will be:\nCollaborate with IT teams, risk specialists, assurance teams, cyber security professionals, and other stakeholders across the organization.\nSupport the analysis, documentation, and implementation of IT and cyber security controls.\nAssist with control testing activities, evidence collection, and control assessments.\nAnalyze control gaps, findings, and recurring issues and help identify practical improvements.\nMap risks, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements to measurable controls.\nContribute to reporting and dashboards that support insight and decision-making.\nExplore opportunities to simplify, improve, or automate controls and monitoring activities.\nThis is a master's internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.\n\nYour profile\nTo be suitable for the internship, you:\nAre pursuing a master's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cyber Security, Accountancy, Auditing, Risk Management, Business Information Management, or a related field.\nHave an interest in IT audit and assurance, cyber security, IT controls, risk management, or compliance.\nEnjoy working with different stakeholders and building effective working relationships.\nAre collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.\nHave strong analytical skills and can translate information into clear conclusions.\nCommunicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.\nKnowledge of frameworks or standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, SOx, or NIS2 is considered an advantage but is not required.\nWhat you'll gain\nDuring this internship, you will gain practical experience with IT auditing, cyber security controls, compliance processes, and risk management in a large-scale technology environment. This experience provides a strong foundation for future careers in IT Audit, Technology Risk, Cyber Security, Risk & Compliance, or Internal Controls.\nOther requirements you need to meet:\nYou are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship;\nIf you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);\nYou attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;\nYou need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship.
