The team helps prepare and execute scheduled customer events by coordinating material requirements, monitoring material availability, addressing supply constraints, and supporting the flow of parts and tools needed for project execution. The team works closely with Customer Support and other supply chain partners throughout the event.\nYour assignment\nThe CSCM Intern will support the EUV UIR Customer Supply Chain team through a defined supply chain improvement assignment focused on material availability, planning, and operational process effectiveness. The intern will analyze supply chain data and current processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop practical recommendations.\nThe assignment will provide hands-on exposure to customer supply chain operations, data-driven problem solving, material planning, and process improvement. The intern will be expected to translate findings into clear recommendations and present the outcome of the assignment to the team.\nSpecific projects will be tailored to match the education/experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer.\nInterns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.\nPast projects have included:\nIdentifying and documenting goals and targets (KPIs).\nEvaluating current processes and updating documentation to adhere to continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN/6 Sigma).\nCreating data visualizations to identify potential opportunities for automation (Power BI/ Copilot).\nCollaborating with CSCM colleagues from other areas to identify Best Known Methods (BKMs).\nParticipating in projects to improve performance of material flow.\nYour profile\nEducation and experience\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Logistics, or a related field. \nInterest in supply chain, material planning, data analysis, and process improvement. \nExperience using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data; experience gained through coursework, academic projects, or previous internships is acceptable. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and translate findings into practical recommendations. \nGood written and verbal communication skills and an interest in working with cross-functional teams. \nExperience or interest in using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to support data analysis, research, problem solving, and effective communication. \nAbility to apply new digital tools and AI thoughtfully to improve efficiency and generate insights.\nSkills\nWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that.
