You will combine deep technical expertise with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills to ensure successful deployment and adoption of ASML's Virtual Computational Platform (VCP).\nRole and responsibilities\nThe VCP Competence Engineer is part of the CS Apps MPC SW Installed Base Optimization team. You will work closely with CS Project Leaders, CS local team, Customers and Development teams to support customer User and IT organizations to prepare, deploy and sustain ASML's VCP solutions.\nIn addition to technical expertise, you will play an important role in coordinating deployment activities and helping drive successful execution of strategic customer programs.\nYour responsibilities include:\nTechnical Expertise & Customer Readiness\nSupport deployment and lifecycle management of ASML's Virtual Computational Platform (VCP).\nAssess customer IT environments and advise on infrastructure readiness.\nGuide customers on compute, storage, networking, virtualization and platform requirements.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, platform and integration issues across diverse customer environments.\nSupport containerized and distributed software deployments.\nServe as a technical expert for VCP architecture, deployment concepts and operational processes.\nDeployment Coordination & Technical Leadership\nAct as technical lead for selected customer deployment activities and rollout initiatives.\nCoordinate technical activities across Development, Product Teams, Customer Support organizations and customer stakeholders.\nSupport Project Leaders during periods of high deployment demand and contribute to the execution of customer programs.\nFacilitate technical discussions, readiness reviews and decision-making sessions.\nIdentify deployment risks, align stakeholders and drive mitigation actions to closure.\nContribute to continuous improvement of deployment methodologies, standards and best practices.\nStakeholder Management\nBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nTranslate complex technical topics into clear and actionable guidance.\nAlign expectations across diverse organizations and cultures.\nEnsure accurate documentation and alignment on customer installation requirements.\nEducation and experience\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline. A Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, customer support, system integration, deployment engineering, technical consulting or comparable technical roles.\nExperience working in complex enterprise environments.\nExperience working across multiple stakeholders and organizational boundaries.\nKnowledge of Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V or similar) and distributed systems.\nExperience with cloud-native technologies, container platforms and modern software deployment concepts is considered an advantage.\nFamiliarity with VCP architecture and deployment principles is beneficial but not required.\nSkills\nWorking at the forefront of technology requires both technical excellence and effective collaboration. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
