Then this position is a great opportunity for you. \nThe Business Support Planning and Control team is looking for an experienced Operation Planner (Wave Planner) that has affinity with leading continuous improvement. We are looking for someone that combines excellent operational skills with great new insights on wave planning and the ability to drive improvements.\nRole and responsibilities\nDeliver load level-, wave planning- & planning support to optimize the efficiency in the logistical process by monitoring and balancing the workload within the warehouse & logistics department.\nAs a Wave planner, you play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our highly complex logistics and warehouse processes, directly impacting our ability to meet production demands efficiently and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.\nOperational activities\nMonitor the influx of outbound deliveries for the 5L Warehouse, where logistics processes are centralized to facilitate an efficient supply to manufacturing.\nIdentify and analyze workload peaks.\nAd-hoc steering on workload peaks- advising on warehouse capacity re-scheduling\nAdjust the timing of deliveries in such a way that the workload is leveled on an hourly base\nAdjust delivery timing based on priority\nMonitor if deliveries are created according to the ‘delivery creation rules’\nContact the internal customer (Production Planning, Cleanroom Logistics, Material Handling) and/or the 3PL in case alignment is needed for load leveling.\nMonitor and steer the ‘stock to factory’ process by managing the EWM Waves\nProcess delivery- and/or delivery line cancellation requests and prio changes\nMonitor and follow-up on exception codes and alerts generated by EWM\nProvides first line operational support on planning processes, executing resolution of operational issues, in order to minimize impact on the operation.\nYou are steering daily/weekly meetings to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.\nWeekly report performance and volume measurements and communicate with stake holders\nThe wave planner reports to the Planning and Control Team Lead within LO Business Support and works closely with other Business Support departments, Warehouse, Production Planning, 3PL, Manufacturing Services Engineering \nContinuous Improvement activities\nIdentify improvement opportunities in the value chain\nAnalyzing trends, define and improve planning related processes\nParticipate and/or drive continuous improvement projects\nInteract with stakeholders\nEducation and experience\nRelevant Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Operations Management & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management).\n3-5 years of experience within Logistics / Supply Chain Management\nHands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment.\nExperience with trouble-shooting: problem solving methodologies\nSAP knowledge\nExcellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint\nSkills\nWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that.
