This can only be accomplished with a strong support of our suppliers.\nAre you an engineer who is challenged by managing the logistics (delivery) performance of suppliers in a high tech-low volume environment, specialized in electrical, mechanical, chemical or optical engineering?\nJob Mission\nAs Logistics Supplier Manager (LSM) you are responsible for the logistics (delivery) and operational performance of a selected number of suppliers. You work with suppliers on performance monitoring, solve supply issues and drive supply improvements, for example capacity expansion, cycle time reduction, risk analysis and reduction. You work closely together with the supplier team, quality supplier manager, procurement account managers and New Product Supply Chain Engineers from ASML. Depending on the complexity and exposure of the account, you are member of the Supplier Account Team. Main areas of interest are material availability, process optimization and supplier development.\nJob Description\nResponsible for the entire Logistics (delivery) performance for suppliers and their n-tier suppliers.\n\nMonitor, review and drive supplier logistics (delivery) performance from incidents to structural improvement\n\nOptimize manufacturing processes at suppliers by improving logistics (delivery), manpower and capacity sufficiency\n\nBuild-up and develop technical competences within ASML (SPC, lean manufacturing, FMEA, operational excellence) to drive and support operational excellence at suppliers.\n\nLimited travel, depending on assigned supplier base.\n\nEducation\nBachelor or Master degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or other technical field. Additional degree in business and supply chain management or equivalent is a plus.\nExperience\n5 - 15 years relevant work experience in a similar role\n\nExperience with supply chain processes in production environment\n\nExperience in improvement projects in supply chain, preferably in High-tech industry\n\nExperience in relationships with suppliers\n\nPersonal skills\nExcellent communication skills\n\nConvincing/negotiationskills\n\nRelationship builder (internal and external)\n\nPro-active attitude\n\nStrong analytical skills\n\nAbility to switch between complex matters and high-level conclusions\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing technology\n\nResult oriented, hands-on mentality\n\nFluent in English\n\nContext of the position\nThe holder of this position reports to the Group Leader of the Asia Supply Chain Quality & Logistics.
