You will help transform legacy tools and manual processes into scalable, sustainable, and secure digital solutions that align with modern IT architecture and cybersecurity standards.\nThis role is ideal for professionals with a combination of manufacturing domain knowledge, MES or factory system experience, software development capability, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.\nThis position is a Taiwan local hire and is based onsite at the Linkou Factory. The role follows a Monday-to-Friday onsite work model, enabling close collaboration with factory teams.\nRole and responsibilities\nManufacturing Systems & MES Solutions\nAnalyze existing manufacturing systems, workflows, and factory applications to identify improvement opportunities.\n\nDesign, develop, and implement solutions to replace legacy tools and manual processes.\n\nSupport MES-related projects and manufacturing system enhancement initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with system architecture, governance, and cybersecurity requirements.\n\nParticipate in system integration discussions and provide manufacturing domain expertise.\n\nApplication Development & Process Automation\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing applications using technologies such as C#, Python, SQL, or other suitable platforms.\n\nImplement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.\n\nSupport data collection, processing, and reporting solutions across factory operations.\n\nDesign and maintain dashboards and data visualization solutions using Spotfire or other BI tools.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement \nPartner with manufacturing, planning, quality, and engineering teams to understand operational challenges and system requirements.\n\nTranslate business needs into technical requirements and digital solutions.\n\nSupport solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and user training activities.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives through digitalization, process optimization, and data-driven decision making.\n\nPrepare documentation, user guides, and technical specifications to ensure long-term maintainability of solutions.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.\n\nExperience in MES, manufacturing systems, factory applications, smart manufacturing, or related environments.\n\nHands-on programming experience with C#, Python, SQL, or similar technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with manufacturing operations, production processes, and factory workflows.\n\nExperience working with databases, data integration, reporting tools, or manufacturing-related applications.\n\nStrong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to understand user requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nGood English and Mandarin communication skills for global collaboration.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with MES, CIM, manufacturing execution environments, or factory automation systems.\n\nExperience with Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and visualization tools.\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing system architecture, software design principles, and data flow design.\n\nExperience in factory digitalization, Industry 4.0, or smart manufacturing initiatives.\n\nExperience with API integration, system interfaces, and application development lifecycle management.\n\nExperience supporting end users, conducting UAT, and delivering user training.\n\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI), or structured problem-solving methodologies.\n\nSemiconductor industry experience is highly preferred.\n\nInclusion and diversity\nASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
