Detailed shift arrangements are described in the Other Information - Shift Pattern section below.\nRole and responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership and System-Level Decision Making\nLead YieldStar (YS) -related technical assessments during daily passdown, DRB (Disturbance Review Board), and escalation meetings.\n\nAct as technical decision owner for complex, cross-domain YS system issues under production pressure.\n\nConsolidate technical findings, risks, and recommendations into clear, management-ready conclusions.\n\nIssue Ownership and Escalation Management\nOwn high-impact, recurring, and long-duration disturbancesimpactingYSmanufacturing output, quality, or delivery.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional resources across Development & Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Support Engineers, and Production Engineers.\n\nIdentifyescalation triggers, risk exposure, containment actions, and prevention strategies to minimize downtime and preventissuerecurrence.\n\nSystem-Level Analysis and Knowledge Deployment\nPerform system-level and structural analysis toidentifyroot causes and systemic gaps.\n\nDrive the development, validation, and deployment of Best-Known Methods (BKM).\n\nEnsure improvements are standardized and sustainably implemented across YSmanufacturing lines.\n\nTechnical Coaching and Factory Alignment\nProvidetechnical guidance and problem solvingmethodologycoaching to peers.\n\nSupport management decision-making through clear, data-driven technical communication.\n\nEnsure technical decisions align with factory targets, quality standards, and long-term YSsystem robustness.\n\nCross-LineIntegration and Operational Support\nLeverage YSmanufacturing insights to prevent repeated disturbances across shifts, lines, or factories.\n\nRespond rapidly to customer feedback, quality notifications, and urgentYS-related production issues.\n\nSupport factory and businessprioritiesthrough rapid, structured technical assessments.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines.\n\n8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, electronics, or precision equipment industries.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience as a 2nd-line Technical Support Engineer or in an equivalent technical support role within the semiconductor equipment industry.\n\nProven experience handling complex troubleshooting, production escalations, recurring disturbances, and cross-functional technical issue resolution in a manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience acting as a technical issue owner, technical focal point, or senior technical contributor for critical production or system-related issues.\n\nStrong ability to structure complex problems, assess risks, and drive technical decision-making under time and production pressure.\n\nGood English communication skills for technical discussions, reporting, and escalation meetings.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with semiconductor equipment platforms.\n\nBackground in 1st-line or 2nd-line technical support, manufacturing engineering, or system-level roles.\n\nExperience handling escalations, recurring disturbances, or long-duration production issues.\n\nExperience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, or acting as a technical lead is a strong plus.\n\nFamiliarity with structured RCA, change management, or continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nOther Information Shift work:\nThis role supports multiple manufacturing teams with different shift patterns.\n\nDuring the interview process, both teams will participate in the evaluation.\n\nFinal team placement will be discussed and aligned with the candidate based on mutual fit.\n\nShift Pattern A team:\nRotating shift covering 7 days per week (7x16), with approximately 50% Day shift (08:00-17:00) and 50% Night shift (16:00-01:00).\n\nRest days are assigned on a rotating basis and may fall on weekdays or weekends.\n\nShift Pattern B team:\n4 days on / 3 days off rotation\n\nDay shift: 06:00-17:00\n\nNight shift: 16:00-03:00\n\nShift rotation every three weeks\n\nBuilt-in and guaranteed days off, including regular weekend time-off, through fixed schedules:\n\nSchedule 1: Sunday-Wednesday (off Thursday-Saturday)\n\nSchedule 2: Wednesday-Saturday (off Sunday-Tuesday)\n\nBusiness trip: Emergency customer on-site support (around 10%)\nInclusion and diversity\nASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
